Saturday 6th April saw the first know performance of live bluegrass music at St Andrew's Church, Calstock, when the Kit Hillbillies generously performed in aid of the Bell Restoration Project.
More than 80 people gathered at the church to hear this exciting group display their energetic take on county music. They were well rewarded.

More than £550 was raised for the bell fund. A fantastic result.
Thanks to everyone involved: Mary Staff who provided a wonderful array of refreshments; Neil, Chris, Gordon and Colin from the Kit Hillbillies; and most particularly the sound engineer Simon who gave up an evening tightly sandwiched between two full days of work at the BBC.
